Education support for the most needy

Gods care orphanage school is currently providing education support to over 359 OVC in various regions of Uganda. Under this core program area, Gods care orphanage school is providing direct support in form scholastic materials and school fees to the most needy. It also provides access to alternative basic education for children with special needs and also conducts dialogue meetings with caregivers, teachers and school administrators geared towards supporting and improving the quality of life of OVC.

Child Protection and Legal

In an effort to avert the plight of OVC and contribute to the process of ensuring that children enjoy their rights such as right to education, food, basic care and rights to association among others, child protection were extended to OVC household in form encouraging OVC care giver to vitally register the OVC, training in succession planning and will making and also referring abused children to the offices of District probation and family and child protection Unit of police among others
