Education Support for the Most Needy
God’s Care Orphanage School is providing educational support to over 359 Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in various regions of Uganda.
Our support includes:
Provision of scholastic materials, school fees, and beddings (such as mattresses, blankets, and mosquito nets) to ensure children have a safe and comfortable place to rest.
Alternative education opportunities for children with special needs.
Regular dialogue meetings with caregivers, teachers, and school administrators to collaboratively improve the quality of life for OVCs.
This initiative is key to breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping children with knowledge, hope, and a brighter future.
Child Protection and Legal Services
We are committed to safeguarding the rights of OVCs through our Child Protection and Legal Support program.
This program ensures:
Access to education, food, basic care, and the right to association.
Support for caregivers in registering children and accessing vital services.
Training in succession planning, legal rights, and protection against abuse.
Referrals of abused children to district probation offices and child protection units for intervention and justice.
